Choose dates and your calendar, then calculate.
Only the dates and weekly days off you entered are used.
This counter uses your chosen weekdays off and your own holiday / leave dates. It does not include an official Sri Lankan holiday calendar or determine leave entitlement. A holiday on an off-day is counted once. Both endpoints are included by default; you can exclude either.
How this planner counts
Are holidays automatically included?
No. Paste your own workplace holidays or leave dates, one date per line. A holiday on a weekday already marked off is counted only once. Public, bank and workplace calendars can differ.
Does adding workdays count the start date?
No. Adding 1 working day from Friday with Saturday/Sunday off gives Monday. Subtracting 1 from Monday gives Friday. Zero leaves the date unchanged. In range mode, the two endpoint checkboxes control inclusion.
Can I use a six-day or rotating workweek?
Any recurring weekly pattern is supported: choose the weekdays off, including Friday/Saturday or Sunday only. For rotating shifts, enter additional dates off yourself; this tool does not infer a roster.
Is this a legal deadline or leave entitlement?
This is a calendar calculation based only on the rules you enter. It does not decide statutory deadlines, notice periods, paid leave or employer policy.
What are working days in Sri Lanka?
Working days are the dates left after excluding the weekly days off and extra holidays you enter. For example, with Saturday and Sunday off, Monday to Friday are usually counted. This calculator does not add Sri Lankan public holidays automatically.
